Winter weather conditions are now upon us, as evidenced by the storms we have experienced in the past few weeks. We’d like to take this time to remind your listeners and readers of the resources available for information on weather and road conditions as well as the contact information for various city and state departments. Please do not call 9-1-1 or the 9-1-1 dispatch center’s business number (360-533-8765) for road, weather or school closure information.
During periods of bad weather the staff is very busy handling weather related emergencies. Calls for information may delay or prevent access for citizens with true emergencies. For State Highway Information: - Road conditions 1-800-695-ROAD
